A

ll foreign students interested in an international mobility exchange at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) must follow the following steps for admission:

STEP 1. Getting UCLM credentials:

Access the UCLM credential management portal to obtain a UCLM username and password. If you do not have a second surname, you must write 2 dots (...) instead.

STEP 2. On-line application form:

Access the UCLM International Relations application (AIRei) and log in with your UCLM credentials (top right corner of the screen), fill in the form and save your application. If you put a colon (...) in the field "second surname" because you only have one surname, you must delete it here.

Attention! It is very important that you select the type of mobility of your academic stay at UCLM. If you are going to do an exchange stay (Erasmus, bilateral...), the official nomination by your home university is compulsory.

Please note that the e-mail address you provide in the on-line registration form will be the only one used to communicate with you.

The deadlines for receiving the nomination are:

30 May for academic stays during the first semester (September-January) or full academic year

30 October for academic stays during the second semester (February-June)

If you have any doubts when filling in the section "Academic data agreement", please contact the ORI of the campus where you will be staying: International Relations Offices contact details

Documentation to be uploaded with the online application form:

  • European Health Insurance Card/Medical Insurance
All international mobility students must have insurance cover for the duration of their stay at UCLM. The European Health Insurance Card or equivalent medical insurance policy must be handed in, at the latest, upon arrival at the Campus. Without these documents you will not be able to enroll at UCLM.
  • Passport or Identity Card
  • Learning Agreement from your University (LA) or Study Contract UCLM (CE)

If you do not have a Learning Agreement from your University, you must download and complete the UCLM Learning Agreement (this document is only valid for international mobility exchanges). The LA or CE must be duly completed, signed by you and your international mobility coordinator and must bear the stamp of your home institution before attaching it to the online registration.

Attention! Before completing the pre-enrolment form, find out at your home institution which UCLM campus you will be studying at. The campus of destination is important in the choice of subjects, since, with the same name, a subject can be taken in different semesters depending on the campus.

To see the subjects to be studied: http://www.uclm.es/centros/ First select the campus and then the faculty corresponding to the studies you will take at the UCLM.

If you need to provide any other kind of documentation, you can do it by e-mail to the ORI of the campus where you are going to do the exchange stay.

STEP 3. Admission:

Once your application has been reviewed by the academic coordinator of the UCLM faculty where you will carry out your exchange stay, the International Relations Office (ORI) of the corresponding campus will send you an email informing you whether your registration is correct or not.

In the following weeks you will be received an information package about accommodation, Spanish course, etc.

Important. The ORI will send an official letter of acceptance by email to students who need to apply for a visa for their stay.
