Welcome to the section on Student Exchanges at the Polytechnic School of Cuenca (University of Castilla–La Mancha) and thank you for choosing us as your study abroad destination. We are delighted to receive international students and make sure that those students who are far from home are happy and comfortable during their studies here and achieve their goals, both academically and personally. We must add that on 1 December 1999, UNESCO declared the Historic Centre of Cuenca as a “World Cultural Heritage Site”. Cuenca is therefore a very attractive location due to its artistic and cultural richness and diverse architectural heritage, in addition to being a very welcoming place with a beautiful landscape and the Júcar river running through the city. All students who take part in a student exchange programme in the Cuenca are very satisfied with the experience.
