Tourism Management

University of Castilla-La Mancha

Course Description

This is a study abroad programme promoted by the University of Castilla-La Mancha in Tourism Management for students from Chongqing Business Vocational College (CQBVC). The course will be delivered in Spanish by UCLM teaching staff.

The programme will be taught at the Faculty of Social Sciences on the Cuenca Campus of the University of Castilla-La Mancha and at the School of Culture and Tourism of Chongqing Business Vocational College, as designated by both parties. It will be offered to both undergraduate and postgraduate students of Chongqing Business Vocational College.

 

Academic Programme

The course programme is structured into the following modules in the field of tourism management, each equivalent to 2 ECTS credits and comprising a total of 40 teaching hours, delivered over two weeks (classes from Monday to Thursday, 9:00 to 14:00). Each module will be taught independently:

1. TOURISM MARKETING
Includes the following modules: e-marketing and social media in tourism, tourism finance, market research, and tourism marketing.

2. TOURISM BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
Includes the following modules: creation of tourism enterprises, fundamentals of business administration, tourism economics, and tourism planning and management.

3. TOURISM MANAGEMENT
Includes the following modules: tourism management, tourism economic environment, big data in tourism, and statistics for tourism.

4. SPANISH CULTURE, CUSTOMS AND LANGUAGE
Includes the following modules: tourism and cultural heritage, interpersonal relations in the modern world, and Spanish tourism.
