Innovation and Teaching Improvement

Innovation

The academic staff at the Polytechnic School of Cuenca have proven experience in innovation and teaching improvement by means of different approaches, due to their heterogeneity and diversity of their backgrounds. The EPC’s faculty members have taken part in courses, workshops and talks on teaching innovation supported by the Unit for Innovation in Education of the University of Castilla–La Mancha, which take place at the Polytechnic School of Cuenca.

We are proud to mention the 2014-2015 Teaching Innovation Award granted by the Social Board of the University of Castilla La Mancha for the project: Participation in the Symbcity project for the Solardecathlon international competitionThis project is an initiative led by professors from the Polytechnic School of Cuenca and carried out by a team of forty students from the University of Castilla–La Mancha and the University of Alcalá de Henares which proposes an energy self-sufficient housing unit, designed for use in the roofs of old buildings which need to be made more energy efficient.
